There were some things about the "good ole days" that were really, really good.  Like swimming in the creek, or sand lot baseball and basketball, or paper dolls (even making your own), playing outdoors without the fear of abduction.  How can we get rid of ipods, iphones, tablets, computers, and television for just a few days--or weeks or months--and get our kids active again?  Life in the fast lane can get way too fast (and fattening.)



Yes and amen. It's good to get out and get dirty. I used to love to make mudpies.
