Oh come, let us worship and bow down;
let us kneel before the LORD, our Maker!
For he is our God,
and we are the people of his pasture,
and the sheep of his hand.
Psalm 95:6-7
let us kneel before the LORD, our Maker!

Psalm 95:6-7
This morning before I climbed out of bed (a little more reluctantly than usual--it has turned cool again here in Arkansas) I said, "Good morning, Lord." That brought to my mind the overwhelming, inconceivable truths about God's ability to see all and have power over all at the same time. And even more relevant to my simple "Good morning," is the quality of character which He possesses that allows Him, through His omniscience, to hear my prayer as though I was the only one speaking to Him this morning, and yet there were likely many. Does that not blow your mind? One thing is for certain; my finite mind will never understand completely God's in-finiteness until I see Him in eternity. The questions that I have seem smaller and less significant today, knowing that my God is so far above my ability to comprehend that I must just trust Him in some things, without the final answer, as Regis Philbin would put it.
Because of His creative work, because of His Omnipresence, Omnipotence, and Omniscience, because He is my God, I am drawn to worship and bow down, to kneel before my Maker, my God, my Shepherd. Through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ on my behalf, I am able to claim a relationship with the God of all creation. Praise the Lord! Do you know Him?
